We are now selling the Akrapovic parts, they are expensive but the quality is great. Fit is perfect. Keep an eye out we'll have them on the site soon.

Having not thought to much about it, but what does it take to install the DP? Shop time? Or a DIY?

 

You can do it yourself. It's a bear getting the heat shields off and on, just be patient, it takes awhile.

I have my 2011 E92 M3 installed the Akrapovic full exhaust and add a "delete -R" since Oct.2011. Everything is fine except I encountered many time of Check engine light on and the car reduced the power from yesterday. I have to pull over then restart the engine then it back to normal. I brought it to dealer, but they can not find any problem via computer. Is that because the delete-R broke? Can anyone give me some help? Thanks

 

Hi I'm thinking to get Akrapovic Exhaust system without the DP. Did any of you actually had it installed on the R56? How was the sound between 110km/h-140km/h. Was there any drone? I have an Alta now and it drones crazily between 110km/h-140km/h.

I can't revert back to original now as it will cost me $3k. So.. Akrapovic full exhaust system seems like a better choice.

 

I don't understand why you have to comment to this post when I've already said that it doesn't drone? I could bet you $1k and it won't drone.

 

sorry . i just want a confirmation from more than 1 source. otherwise the only option i have is go back to oem (which is dumb)
