Install NM Engineering Performance Intake

I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S Clubman. I want to make some upgrade to the engine but I am afraid to void the warranty.

I found a CAI from NM Engineering :

http://nm-eng.com/nm658857-nm-eng-hi...ntake-kit.html

It is easy to install by myself. I can re-install the stock one if necessary.

If I only install the NM performance CAI without upgrade the exhaust, is it OK?

Will it cause any damage to the engine without install a performance exhaust?

Looking for yours comments please!
