Resurrected, this thread is!

Yes - I used a BSH boost tap adapter at the port on the intake manifold shown in the top right of the picture.

Been running strong ever since (boost and vac)!

This is the SKU of the one I purchased at OutMotoring:

20201102 BSH Direct Dual Boost Tap

Yes, you will need to remove the airbox and place this in between the tube shown at the base of the intake manifold. It goes right in, then is secured with the locking arm. Then, connect the hose as usual and you're all set.

No, keep on going down to the base of the intake manifold. Just follow the hose, you'll find it.

It started to rain so I had to close up. Does the cap unscrew off? Thank you!

For the life of me I can't remember which of those it is (hose or cap) but you will figure it out really quickly with the diameter of the boost tap - they're different sizes, and only one is large enough. I think it was the capped one.

To remove, squeeze the sides of the plastic ring to release the two middle tabs and pull outward.

I got it done today. I don't see vac though. Boost is still okay. I moved from the NM tap to the BSH one.

When you start it up, you should be getting at least some vac. That was the big plus over the NM for me is the ability to watch vac.
