Norcal Mechanic

I am looking for a Mini mechanic in the Northbay that knows his Minis and the mods we all do. Someone for advice and to perform mods I don't have time for or honestly can't do. I am located in Sonoma County so the closer the better but would travel for the advice/work of a genuine expert.

Thanks.

Heading out to play with the new Go-Pro on the bummer.

If you click on the the site below, it has over 125 independent Mini shops listed in California alone in the independent shop tab. There are numerous shops located in northern California that may be near you. Good luck.

There's a shop in Santa Rosa named Bavarian Tuning who does performance work in Santa Rosa - http://www.bavarian-tuning.com/

They do a lot of road racing in Infineon and Thunderhill.

I use Bavarian Professionals in Berkeley. Contact Nat Sears at 510-524-6000. I've taken my cars to them for 15 years and they have quite a bit of experience with highly modified R56 Minis.

Many thanks to the three of you. That is exactly what I was looking for. I will try the Santa Rosa shop first and then the Berkeley shop if I don't find what I need.

By the way, if you haven't purchased a Go Pro and mounted it on the front bumper, then I highly recommend you get one. I just started playing with mine yesterday on HWY 1 and what a great toy. $235 shipped from Ebay and another $60 for the mount. Best $300 I have spent in a long time.

Cheers

Augie
