The dimesport plugs into your obdII port, from there it can down/up load maps. Not sure on price check ther web sit. Off hand 500 for tune 360 for dimesport. I no on my jcw with my map I got 60 fpt.

Great, thanks. You really got 60 lbs/ft torque, you sure? That seems really high.

Not that I am saying that you are lying, but it does seem high, however, that is is sick. So I actually just got off the phone [removed] total for tune and flash tool is $869.00 before taxes. So what is the difference if I were to just go with the Alta AccessPort? This mapping tool is $859.00 before taxes, and all the maps are already on the device.

Is it because the RMW Tune is a custom tune to your specifications and the Alta Tune all ready has predetermined maps that are already included in the device itself and these maps are universal to the car and any aftermarket mod you install, that it actually might now take the CEL and put it away for ever.

I want the tune and I need the tune if I am going to be installing the Ragazzon DP so that the CEL will not show. He told me that we can make a tune so that the CEL will never show, so that is huge, but you have to agree that the price for a tune is ridiculous. Especially when all they EVO and Soobie guys and gals are getting tunes done for $200 bucks. I don't know, it is what it is...

Subie accessports are still 500$

But yes supply and demand.

60 ftlbs is a lot, but not excessive for a turbo car. Mind u it's a JCW, bigger turbo and better internals. I gained 40 lb ft to the wheels on my s. 175/195 hp/tq to 210/235 after tune. Welcome to the world of forced induction.

You can get 100ftlbs now a days on some cars from a tune. I believe 335i and the 3.0 supercharger on the Audi are two examples

The tune is this cars pulley, it makes that big of a difference. Once you drink the cool-aid you will never go back.

I have to say a RMW tune is the best mod for the R56. I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Get an obx if you lose this down pipe. For the money you can not beat it. Any good exhaust shop should be able to fad it to the stock mid pipe.

Hey this is kind of a random question but what is a good reliable jack stand or drive on ramp so i can get under my car to take a look at and tighten some bolts. ( and ps i live on a slight hill so if there is a stand that i can use on a hill that would be awesome if not im sure i can find some flat land.) i just dont want to be under my car and have it fall on me.. i like having my legs NOT smashed like pancakes lol

Don't know if it's a huge difference, but isn't the OBX only 2.25"?

though i'd be careful using them on a hill. i wouldn't recommend it.
a kid in my car club died when his changing his moms oil in her bmw and he was working under it with just a jack (NEVER DO THIS) and the car fell on him.

not saying its the same situation but avoid having a car fall on you at ALL costs.
