I think alta has a downpipe for thier exhaust. Its a 3" so yours might hook up to it. Thats all I can think of off hand.

You can't find it because it's been discontinued, sorry! It wouldn't work anyway, since it was really built to bolt up to our cat back only. Most likely you're going to have to get an aftermarket downpipe, and have a shop fabricate a bracket to make it work.

Your problem is that you have a 2011...

Nearly every DP will through a CEL (which can't be fixed in your case since you have an un-tuneable '11)...which if your ok with that then you don't really have a problem. As far as catted goes, the Akrapovic is known to be the best, and I don't think it will throw a CEL from what I've heard. I think its a waste to get a catted DP though....but I wouldn't run a catless DP without a tune, so again you can't really go that direction. Guess that leaves you with the Akrapovic! It's a quality piece and its $$$...

i noticed more in the butt dyno from my DP than my intercooler. the cel isn't really an issue if you get one.

yeah thats why im saying get a DP now because you will feel it as opposed to the cooler. with a DP you will have more fun until you get a tune and then need an IC.

The FMIC will help maintain HP longer then the stock IC so it's always a decent investment even on stock boost MINIs.

Like Thumper said it's kinda a waste of time to mess with the DP on your car if you can not tune it. Catted DP's simply don't produce the power to justify their cost and catless DP's don't allow the engine to perform correctly with out a tune.

I agree that an aftermarket intercooler will actually be the better investment right now, we've seen the Minis make a ton of power with or without a tune on a better FMIC.

Dp is almost just as pointless as the intercooler without a tune. but it also throws up cels. more negeatives with the dp then the intercooler

how does a non tuned mini make more power with a fmic?

Like Mike said, the an aftermarket intercooler like ours will flow more air than the stock intercooler, and can bleed off a lot more heat than the stock intercooler can. This helps maintain the same amount of power, since the stock ECU cuts power when the intake air after the intercooler goes over a certain temp.

Same way a tuned one does

The difference is just not as dramatic on stock boost levels vs high boost. But its still a worthwhile investment!

No probs but I am speaking from personal experience with my own car. seems like you want some more bang and since you can't get a tune yet that would be the quickest way.
