I agree get the CAI, although it will offer little to no performance on stock ko3 turbo Mini, but the louder sounds like suction and DV blow off will be nice. Kinda like some of us wanting the burble/pop on our 07-10, I'd also want CAI and a somewhat raspy exhaust to get the OG Mini sounds, no matter how obnoxious it would sound from stock.

I prefer to have a CAI or SRI as I like to call it, but the price of them are ridiculous, considering I'm only paying for sound. So I'll just keep my dealer installed original Stage1 JCW intake setup that's been on the car it's whole life.

*But to agree with others, searching isn't hard. Also catching an attitude when someone tells you other info you didn't ask about but could save you money isn't the smartest thing to do either. The OP recognized this and apologized for doing so. So I think some on here had a good reason to burn him a little(PMS'n).

 

i think saying jcw stage 1 or DoS is just as easy as telling someone to search.

 

I've decided to go with the DoS. I'm on the 6th grp buy and so far there's still 4 slots left. Come on fellow NAMers, let's get on it. This may be the last group buy for a while at least.
