Anyone know what the code P1447 means ? Recently installed an Alta CAI and CEL came on. Diagnosed it to this code. Re-installed the CAI and had code cleared, so far so good.

P1447 Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage (DM-TL) Pump Too High During Switching

not sure if it's connected to the CAI or just coincidence. I have also read that the same code pops up on BMWs when you fill gas tank while car is running or do not put the gas cap back on correctly.

 

My bet is the gas cap, since it is a brand new 2011 MCS.

 

Hate to revive this, but I was searching. I have this code and it keeps popping up. Installed the K&N Intake and no code, but about a month later, this code came up (P1447 Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage (DM-TL) Pump Too High During Switching). I have not pumped gas with the car on. I clear it and it comes back within a day or two. Any ideas on what to do?
