Upgrading 2005S to 18" wheels and tires

Hi

I am new to this forum, I recently purchased my 2005 CooperS which has the 27" wheels, I ordered a set of 18" wheels and am considering various tires 215/35/18, there are a few choices, I do not plan on racing the mini but do want a reasonable performance tire, any suggestions, currently there are several brands I have not heard of but they seem quite dominate on the web, I am currently consider in Goodyear F1 or Sumimoto.. ratings are 360, a, a
Thanks
Stewart
