Drivetrain JCW CAI or
JCW CAI or
Hi everybody, I have a '05 mcs. I want to install the 15% pulley and a CAI. I just recently failed the visual part of the CA state smog inspection with an Oil Catch Can. Removed the OCC and passed smog, BTW the smog numbers were better with the can. Is putting the JCW CAI better for performance (and smog inspectors) than the other aftermarket CAI's. Is the JCW smog legal. Also does the 15% pulley replacement increase the fuel consumption?
Thanks

1st off I would go to a different place next time you need your smog, we have a ton of customers that get smogged and never fail off visual inspections.
If you drive your car the same as you do now the fuel consumption should be pretty much the same, but everyone enjoys it so much that they usually accelerate more which decreases the mileage.
Go for the pulley you won't look back. The JCW intake won't effect your smog either.
