Is anyone out there using datalogging software that is bmw compliant and not generic?

I am currently using dashcommand, scanxl but certain sensors are not being registered as valid pid's.

so what is needed?

What are you not able to record that you are wanting to?

I am using Torque and it seems to be picking up everything for me but then maybe i am not looking at the same items you are wanting to.

But torque only runs on Android Phones.

 

Im getting what technically i need but i want more readins from say the knock sensor voltage, vanos readings etc. really specific pids.


I get timing advance, fuel lambda, iat/boost, boost, maf (which btw i get to 25lbs/min) etc so all my usual stuff is good


just want to monitor/test a few things before i run alcohal injection so i can log before after effects.

 

Let me know what software version you are running. Im working on a datalogger that will log at the ram level but will only be compatible with specific software versions. Knock voltage, correction factors for individual cylinders and basically anything else you would want will be available.

Just about done a flash tool as well. Ill post more then everything is all set.
