I've got the exact same problem on my 08 Clubman. Please post any info. I'm heading to the dealer on Monday. I will post the results. Here's a pic

Had the same issue. 1st time they replaced the washer AND banjo bolt. 1k miles later and 1 week out of guarantee, the line had to be replaced....

Remember, oil on a hot turbo= real bad. If the car is under warranty have them come get it. It is a safety issue.

The leaking line is the oil supply line to the turbo. That is a compression fitting that's leaking. The copper washers is probably not the issue. I had to get the entire line replaced. It's a P.I.T.A.

Requires removing the turbo to do the work. I tried replacing the copper washers first and soon discovered the fitting slid freely on the metal tube. It's a poor design by MINI. They should have designed solid fittings with a flex line between the two fittings.

That's my .02!!

The area is exposed to heat radiating from the exhaust housng of the turbo. I wonder if it's the heat causing the sealing joint to fail. I wrapped my oil and water lines with thermo-tec heat wrap shortly after getting the car. I'll check when I get home to see if there's any sign of leakage.

Has anybody ever replaced this oil line ?
Does the turbo need tO be removed ?
If so what's the difficulty of doing this and are there any special tools needed to do it ?
My oil line burst right when I started my car at the dealer after they gave it a oil change :/
