Drivetrain Tuning and Torque steer. My observations FWIW
Tuning and Torque steer. My observations FWIW
I seem to have lost my torque steer after the tune last week. I am thinking that a smoother power curve is responsible. I had a differential high on the list just to accelerate straight, but it seems like if and when I add one, it will be for a different reason. 47F this morning, severe clear and there wasn't the slightest squirrliness in the car.
Just an observation.
The R53 smooth curve helps. I doubt the R56 would do the same thing with their massive (read "he's jealous") peaks.
As always my internet advice comes with a 100% money back guaranty.
*Ooops, wrong forum...sorry guys.
EDIT: Second drive. The car has way less of the torque steer, but there is some still there. I just notice a lot less of it and posted FWIW.

My skinny snow tires made it almost unbearable. I think I have 215 on now and that alone helped a huge amount.
There still is a bit felt mostly on uneven pavement, but I still think it is much less than before.
