Blow-Off Valve

I have a 2003 MCS (R53). I really like the way BoVs sound, so I was wondering if there is a way to install one onto my car (Supercharged), or something like it that sounds like one. Thanks!

Ya should of gotten and R56. Turbos are the ones that use BOV's
The cool noise that we get is a whine from the supercharger.

Well there's my problem; I love the S/C whine, but I also love the BoV sound. Plus I like the way R53's look better. I heard about something called a bypass valve for a S/C... any idea on whether it will sound the same?

No, youll never get the nice blowoff valve sound your looking for with a S/C
R56 or a turbo swap will get you it though

you can get fake BOV's that make the noise, i think they connect to a vacuum or boost line, i forget. pretty ricey imo, but if it's what you wanna do, by all means. The only other way is to go turbo. the BPV (by pass valve) doesn't make much of a noise, and you won't hear it unless you get the m7 ags system (rare and $$$$$), and even then it's nothing like a BOV. I do agree that BOV's make a very cool sound, but then again, cop's don't find it cool, it's just a clue to them that you're running aftermarket. If you want a BOV, you picked the wrong car. sorry :(
