Bavarian Auto spark plug wires?

This is there description:

Give your Mini more firepower! Stock ignition wires have built-in resistors to reduce radio interference. Our high-performance ignition wires use a spiral core to do the same thing --without stepping down voltage to the plugs. You get a hotter spark!

Doesn't say what size they are or anything, but does anyone have these?

Thanks!

haven't heard of these. but plug wires supposedly wont do much if anything, unless yours are corroded/chewed through/really old. do it if you want, but dont expect much of a change. you will however notice a difference if you go for a screamin' deamon coil pack.

If you want plug wires don't sell the farm to get them. There isn't big power gains or any of that hype. But I do recommend replacing them about 60k, they do wear out and can fall apart. I use the Kingsborne wires and they work great.

Well, someone was selling a set on MA for a good price, low miles and I confirmed with Bavarian Auto that they are 8mm wires, and they should go nicely with the SD coil pack I just ordered from Way =)

cool, let us know how they are. try installing them before the sd and use them like that then try with sd vs. sd w/ stock wires, if you dont mind

Yeah, I have the wires already, so as soon as I get him back from the dealer/body shop, I'll put the wires on, then the SD when I get it

i only want to make the point that there is no physical possibility to make any significant difference in performance with wires unless the ones being removed are severely worn and not functioning properly.
