Dude that sounds sick, I love it.
I ordered a Magnaflow muffer and just guna go straight from the cat back. Guna take it to a muffler shop and get it put on. Hopefully it will be cheaper than the full Magnaflow system.
I hope it sounds like yours.

muffler

Well if it's just a muffler, you might not get the sound you're looking for. I did that before this exhuast. I replaced just the muffler (a magnaflow one) and it didn't change much of the sound. I got this Exhaust system for about $550 (free shipping- $200 to $400 cheaper then retail) and got it put on. You should take off the resonator as well because that is what quiets down the system.

The Crazy part about my Drone is that it only occurs when I have the Windows up. (highway around 70mph, 3K rpms). I can eliminate the drone by backing off the gas pedal and still be able to maintain my speed.

This Mod is not for everyone, But for it is ME "****"! I get compliments everywhere I go. I am not a kid, I am in my mid 40s. I thought if I did this mod it would sound like a Kids rice Burner. On the Contrary! The Sound Deep, Mellow and most of all Agressive. It is the Best Mod I have done to date!

Just Do IT!!!!!!!

I have somewhat reduced the inside drone with some judicious use of sound proofing materials under the carpet, back seats and rear trunk area. Outside, it is the same exhaust tone, inside just less drone at 3K or any engine speed.

FYI, it does takes a little time to do this.

Bumping. I'm planning the MagnaFlow 16815 for my 2012 Cooper S. Does anyone have any updates on how their exhaust setup has held up over time?

Also, one thing I always wondered about modifying the exhaust... I love the pop and burble that I'm getting with my 2012. It happens frequently and is very loud. Will this be impacted by changing to the MagnaFlow? Will the pops get louder?
