Drivetrain amazing setup
amazing setup
I was just trolling the internet and saw this guy's intercooler setup on a ford forum. Its on the second page if you scroll down a bit. Anyone know how he did this?!?!

it's quite clear in the picture how he did it. He just made aluminum adapters to connect to the stock intake horns and piped off that. Pretty straight forward stuff for anyone with a TIG welder and basic sheet metal skills. But that intercooler is waay overkill for a M45. Must have a huge pressure drop...lol bigger is not always better...but looks nice all the same.
yeah, I wasnt sure if he made that kit himself or it was something available. I agree the kit size of that thing is way too big, but I wouldn't mind trying that same setup with a intercooler of proper size
It is a kit made by GRS motorsport in the UK, costs around $1200, you have to remove your A/C because of the IC core, and the piping has changed from 2in to I think 1.5in because of overall pressure loss because of how massive the core is.
My friend and I are looking into making a front mount setup also. We want to use a small core and mount it right behind the hood grill opening, I want a small enough core so that I can still keep my a/c. Do you think this will still be more effective than the stock top mount? Or not worth it?
