Drivetrain M7 16% reduction pulley
Need a 15% charger pulley
Can any body recomend a quality 15% charger pulley that can be shipped the same day it's ordered?
My head is about to explode. We decided to get a 15% . Thought it would be a safe small change that would provide better "seat of the pants" performance & braggin' rights. Did a little (very little) poking around & ordered one from Alta. Can't get one shipped in a reasonable time frame. Car was torn down for a coolant leak & is waiting for a pulley to go back together. We didn't mind waiting a little over a week for the back order but we keep getting reports that the back order is getting longer & longer. We have spent a week ordering & cancelling orders that can't be filled. Come to mention it we haven't seen that matching belt yet either. I can't say I'm mad at Alta but I need a freakin' pulley.

ok, so im going to get a 17% kit from way, but I also plan on getting either the 2% or 3% crank pulley from alta/ cravenspeed. From what I have been hearing these two pullies add together and would give me the equivelant of a 20- 21 % reduction correct? If so thats, no bueno without an intercooler and meth. Anyone have a similar setup or am I wrong on my thinking? any help?...Way?

I thought you did need to have a dampened crank pulley unless you are always near/at redline. I would recommend te alta lightened (not oversize) crank pulley.
If you r going the oversize route do get a dampened pulley since with 21% reduction those dangerous frequency normally not reached will b in sight

If you want a crank pulley you should go with the ATI damper. I do not recommend the aluminum lightweight crank pullies. Without the damper it is hard on the bearings, and oil pumps. Oh and yes there is proof of this. The last two motors I did had lightweight crank pullies and you should see the bearings out of them, they are in horrible shape.
We have pullies in stock and can ship today, or even overnight if you need.
BAD IDEA, 20-21% reduction would be waaaay to much. You would over spin the supercharger and water pump, and also throw over boost codes.

Do you offer a pulley puller rental with order?
I don't really think 17% will cause any more problems than you will have with a 15% or even stock(other than belt wear, 17% belts should be changed every year or so). Really if an engine/SC is going to go, it will go with or without pulley mods. I just saw a thread the other day where Steve at SRTech said he has been running 18% reduction for something like 152,000 miles with no problems other than a leaky thermostat, and a bad bpv.
Yes when you buy one of our WMW pullies we rent it to you for FREE
