Who here installed the Way pulley

In the instructions it says to back it off .020 to .025 but the guy I talked to said no.........to bottom it out all the way??

Bottom it off, then back it out a miniscule amount. Otherwise, your pulley is going to be rubbing on the SC. No idea how that could ever be a good thing.

Way's instructions are good, Way knows what hes talking about.

I just put the center part on all the way, don't force it down, then put the outer part on. Then the screws will pull the center part away from the metal ring on the snout seal. If you want to pull it off the seal .20 that won't hurt. I've just done it so many times I don't have to think about it. The most important thing is that the shaft bottoms out in the back of the pulley.
