Spark Plug 07 Stock MCS

Hi there

Im new at forum and its my first post to forums.
Yesterday i ordered Alta Intake and NGK ILZKBR7A-8G Laser Iridium Spark Plugs.

But im not really sure about spark plugs.

Do i have to change the cables or it will fit correctly?

Those are just stock replacement plugs. Just did the same a little while back.

Simply flip the tab up (from the front) and the wire harness will slide off (towards front) then the whole coil (pictured below) pulls out, and off the plug far below. In short, there are no cables..

what is the service interval for changing the plugs on minis, iridiums are usually 60,000+ mile plugs

It made a noticeable difference on mine at 45K I can assure you.

I thought it was part of the ServiceII (you know the one you pay for) which is usually somewhere in the mid-40K miles.

Theyre not too expensive so I think ill keep on changing them at like 30K... definately seems to help! Turbos can eat them fairly quickly

14mm 12 point for factory plugs

Why a 12-pt socket - the plugs are hex aren't they?

Nope, Mini is too cool for that 6 point rubbish. All the factory plugs are 12 point.
