Drivetrain Has anyone used Flowmaster 44 or 40 series mufflers before? Even 10 series mufflers?

Has anyone used Flowmaster 44 or 40 series mufflers before? Even 10 series mufflers?

Hello! I was looking at the Flowmaster site, along with the Magnaflow site, and I was doing some comparisons. Now I'm sure that the Flowmaster 10 series (10"x4x9 length) will fit the 2002 Mini S because the Magnaflow kit, has 4x9x11" mufflers on each side.

What I also saw from the exhaust reference thread was the picture for the Magnaflow kit installed, and it looks like after installed, there is still about 5" before the muffler will actually touch the bumper. So I'm thinking, maybe a larger muffler would fit there? The muffler I'm looking at is actually a Jones Exhaust Quiet Tone Muffler that is 13"x4"x9.75", which SHOULD FIT. I believe thats the size of the Ireland Engineering Exhaust. Does anyone have any SOLID evidence that this Quiet Tone Muffler will fit? I have a dual exit exhaust BTW, so I don't need pipes to wrap back to the middle of the car.

I also read on one of these threads that the stock muffler furthers points were 12x16", however I do know that the stock muffler is not a perfect rectangle. Thanks so much everyone help is greatly appreciated!!
