I don't know what the story is with Riss Racing O2 sim, but i heard the car has lag or goes into limp mode with a catless dp. Can anyone explain this to me. I have a RR catless DP that i never installed because i was waiting for the O2 sim chip and because i heard of lag or limp mode but have not found any actually info. on it.
Any feed back on the O2 sim would help too.

 

You'll get a CEL (check engine light) but no limp mode. You can run with a catless DP, no need for the O2 sim, as it doesn't actually work anyways. People have tried numerous solutions with little success.

 

thank you, i have to pass my emissions by the end of next year, might just wait until after that. Might not even pass now, i can't clear my CEL with the scangauge

 

I have the alta downpipe with a single cat, and i have the check engine light as well, but like BostonR56S says no limp mode ( thank goodness). the check enigne light is annoying.. but... oh well not much i can do...

limp mode is the cars way of protecting itself.. prevents it from doing any major damage. So you will get major power loss
