15% or 17% Reduction

I have been told that the 17% reduction will cause pining if I do not get the larger fuel injectors. Has anyone experienced this? I have also been told that the 17% will be more likely to burn out the supercharger if I don't control the temps and that the ECu will dump more fuel to try to bring down the temps making the car sluggish. I'd really like to hear results from those who are running a 17% and for how long it has been in use.

Is your an automatic? How did the MiniPowerProg work for you? WHat is a Henry-Bypass Valve? Have you experienced any problem at all since installing the 17%?

Tutono,
I upgraded from 15% to 17% and very happy that I did. I was stationed in Germany and I have had no problems with pinging until I got to WA. I fixed the problem using chevrom and adding octane booster to the fuel tank. I recomend the 17% pulley because with the 15% you will not feel too much difference from stock. The minipowerprog it is an Italian program that comes with the obd cable and cd to connect to your laptop. You upload your mini program to their online server and they will send you the modified file in 24 hours.

17% is great for locations that have 93 octane, and IMO cooler temps...
On a hot day the the 15% will be faster, but the rest of the year the 17% IMO is more fun as a street car....
IMO if you spend lots of times at higher rpm's, get the 15%...same for autox and track folks...but the 17% is great for the daildriver with moderate rpm's. I ran a 17 untuned with stock injectors....it will run a bit lean at high rpm's...but I since you spend limited time there, should be ok.
I later got jcw 380's later still a custom Dino tune...
Do a search...there is a ton of info here on this subject!!
