Mini Powerprog and Bluefin

Anyone have a line on any place in the US to buy either of these? I can't find Kass Motorworks. As for Superchips Bluefin product all I can find is the UK dealers.

Remember...software in different nations vary, as do fuel, etc.
Most folks...even on the Euro sites don't care much for thses items...they are mostly a timeing advance....
If you want that, get a "shark injector" for gen1 mini's....
In general...I would say stay away...seen the ads for the fin thing..heard it discussed...it comes down to smoke, mirrors, and advertising.

I guess some folks have liked it...but just a custom Dino tune is better...about the same $$.

Thanks for all your help. I'm in NH and it's no easy task finding a dino tuner that isn't a state away and charging $600 plus for the tune. I also like the idea of reprogramming when and if I add a mod. The trouble is finding one that is reputable, not asking for my first born, and has the mods for my mini (2006 Sport Conv w/ CAI and 17% and automatic). I'd lean more toward the Shark Injector but I am concerned about being able to get updates. I would like one that does take into account the auto tranny but I do not know if that even applies or is available. Hard to find info on that here.

I have been doing a lot of posting here and I really do appreciate all the insight everyone has been giving me.

Depending on where in NH, Jan did tunes in Norwich CT..about a 2 hr drive from southern nh...he will likely do it again...cost was $350 + $100 for the Dino...the higher price is/was for the r56.
If you are worried about keeping the tune if the dealer reflashed the car, you can for an extra 350$ on the r53 get a flash tool...zit let's you download/reload you current tune and the custom tune.
Anytime you get New updated software at the dealer, it will be stock...the tune will be lost....and you will need a retune to adjust the new software, or reload the old tune/software.
With the flash tool, it is possible to remotely tune a car on a Dino anywhere....as long as you have e-mail and a laptop...you do a run, send in the current software, and then it is tuned, returned, and you run again....this is done 3 or 4 times till it optimized over an hour or so...
RMW and WMW both do remote tunes....
One older option...not well liked is the oldschool piggyback....
The shark injector is mostly a timing advance...$$$ for what you get IMO, but still an option.
One thing...all the cabrio's I have seen seem to tune up stronger than the hardtops...seems common, maybe the motors were slightly better due to late production, and or were the stronger units off the production line to make up for extra weight!!
