Drivetrain Exhaust, CAI and ECU Tuning
Exhaust, CAI and ECU Tuning
I'm new here and just purchased a 2010 Chili Red Clubman S. I would like to change the exhaust, CAI and have the ECU tuned. The MiniMania site sells the Borla Cat Back exhaust. Is anyone using it? What about CAI and having the ECU remapped?
Thanks in advance.

You can find sound clips on youtube for most of the aftermarket exhausts. That might help you determine what one you want. There are a lot of different options with CAI however the biggest gains are not found there.
Biggest bang for the buck is:
dowpipe
intercooler
ecu tune
For the ecu tune I would currently recommend ALTA AccessPort. Its new on the market but the results have been great!

Drill holes in your muffler, drill holes in your stock box, and get your car "JDM tuned"
But really, 100% agreement with skippydog. Your car will be beast if you get a catless or high flow catted downpipe, intercooler, hard pipes, and an ALTA tune.
If you're looking to make your car sound b-fackin-a, get an open atmosphere intake. You will not be displeased.
