I haven't seen any either. Jan is always busy traveling around doing tunes from what I have seen. I've had him tune my car twice this year. He really gets around!

Why don't you call him up? He is not the best person to communicate with via email only.

I orderd a motor from him about two weeks ago as well. I havent heard from him, but then also havent tried to contact him since he said it would take roughly 4-5 weeks. From talking to him in the past Im sure he is just uber busy.

Im not worried either, but then maybe my thats me just trusting someone who grew up in my fine state.

I emailed him a couple days ago and I received a reply the next morning. He said that he would be updating all of the tunes next week.

Word on the street is Jan is getting the AP tuner to work with Alta. If this is true, I assume that the dimsport will take a backseat with Jan and will be used basically to tune Porsche and BMW.

I called Jan a few weeks ago and asked for an updated tune so I could compare his latest tune to the tune I received from Alta.

He said he would update it but as usual, he's too busy to do anything about it.

I guess if the rumor is true about Jan working with Alta, then there's not much reason for Jan to complete his tuning with the Dimsport.

Plus the other word out is that once he gets the tune he wants out of the AP, he will use it to get the most out of the Dimsport so the guys that already have the Dimsport aren't sucking high and dry.

I guess I'm just going to sell my dimsport tuner dirt cheap and move on.

And yours was new, right? (as in unused?)

If so, I'll have to sell mine cheap because it'll probably cost the new owner 100 bucks to have it shipped to Jan to ship it to Dimsport to have a new VIN number accepted in it.

I was going to buy a new 2011 JCW and use the AP on it since I can transfer it. Then I'd keep the RMW tune on my mini.

However, if I can't get any updates, what's the point?

I'll just sell it or use it as a door stop, which works best.

Not trouble, when i purchased mine i got it the same day it arrived. Jan sent me a tune he worked on from home so the customer services was great. Now that the collaboration is happening just gotta wait until the data can be transferred to the dim sport tool.

Cant wait for the options to surface. I would love to have an AP and would pay more for one but the tune would have to be Switchable

Here is my little story...

We all know that Jan can be hard to get a hold of. So one night a few weeks ago he calls me on my cell phone and leaves a message. I was busy and could not get back to him. He called me 2 more times. So I say to myself "WOW! what does this guy want from me?? That he keeps calling."

He was calling to tell me that he had finally unlocked all/most of the limiters in the JCW tune. He is going to email me this updated tune called "high boost." Prior to this new tune I could maybe make 18psi of boost, once or twice 19. So I put it on my car and take it for a ride. Holy crap!!! This thing is wild. I can easily get to 23psi of boost in 6th gear. It was now crazy fast. I think this new tune is a bit too much for the car. You can spin the wheels in 3rd gear. The cold start hesitation is gone and the car pulls like no tomorrow in any gear, even 6th. I can't even begin to describe how awesome the car is now. I will need to get it on a dyno to see how much more power its making.

Thanks Jan. You have been great to work with and I appreciate your ongoing work trying to wring every drop of additional power out of the JCW power-plant.

I said this once in another post. He must like my mellow NY demeanor !!!
