Drivetrain Fittiing engine damper to cooper s auto
Fittiing engine damper to cooper s auto
Anyone fitted one of those engine dampers to the cooper s automatic ?, I am talking about the one's from TSW or the lordoftheflies sells.
I am trying to eliminate the jerky gear change at low speed that a lot of if not all cooper s automatics (aisin automatic) seem to suffer from, its the 1st to 2nd & 3rd to 2nd you can feel the most.
I have done 2 transmission fluid drain & fills on our 24k mls 2006 auto & the jerky shift is a lot better but the 1st to 2nd 3rd to 2nd is still not as smooth as all the other shifting.
Does anyone know if the damper would cure this, or if there is a software update from BMW that would cure it.
I have read quite a few posts about the damper making the on off throttle response and shifting feel better on the manual cars but nothing on the automatics
