Drivetrain 03 JCW upgrades
03 JCW upgrades
I am now the proud owner of a '03 JCW Cooper S, thanks to my father in law & his move to a 135, anyway, I have been reading a lot of forums as I am looking to do a few tweaks.
The car currently has the original 03 JCW kit, I was wondering how much is the difference to the 05 JCW kit ? I have read that the airbox is different, possibly the injectors & the tune.
Can anyone confirm the differences between 03 & 05 kits, especially the injectors & the size.
Cheers

05-06 JCW has JCW CAI and 380 injectors plus tune. Technically, 05-06 JCW also has some model year (factory) differences like a better gear ratio, lighter crank pulley and LSD from the factory.
This is a great chance for you to upgrade to a DDM intake, and injectors. Then our WMW 2% damper crank pulley is a great way to spin the supercharger a little faster to get a little more boost.
