Ya i slid it all the way and put the pulley all the way on just seems like there is something wrong with the pulley. But i wont have pictures till i lift the motor again to put the new one on.

It would be the first time I have seen a bad pulley.

Alright my car is now running and working just fine iam assuming. No weird noises so far so im thinking its a good sign. So im just wondering why a way motor works 17% pulley works for my car but i couldn't get the Alta v2. Both couplings were slid on as far as they could go. Im posting pics of the Alta pulley tomorrow. My opinion all around WMW makes a way better pulley. But what do i know im not exactly a engineer.

Not sure why it would be an issue. I have installed 15 + pulleys and only once had an issue with fitting and that was an M7 pulley. We still managed to get it working right but the fitting was a lot tighter than normal.

Did you contact Alta to see if they could advise you? You may be able to return it. Glad you got it working though. How do you like the power?

ya i dont know ether but one problem i started up my car this morning and had a funny whine but when i got driving it was gone and when i was stopped down the road it was gone. i dont know if im just paranoid or if its issue. and ya the extra power is definitely worth all the hassle.

The whine could be slipping of the belt while it is cold. I would recommend a 535 with the 17 and a tensioner stop as well.

I have the tensioner stop. Maybe your right i should switch to a smaller belt. But its hard for me to have the motivation to wanna take it all apart again and lift the motor. Unless you think you can change belts out without lifting it. But thanks for helping me out with everything.

You can.... You just need to pull he fender well cover, that is it. Pretty easy to do. The belt will be tight going on but is totally worth the effort.
