You should be able to set what parameters are shown for both live data and data log. I could've sworn I just looked at it yesterday under live data. Under the Monitor > Set Live Data > Select ECT (I believe there is a max to how many items can be viewed).
Edit: I just looked at my AP, and you can monitor ECT and data log it (Monitor > Set Live Data List). You can actually select all the parameters under Live Data, however for Set Data Log List there is a limit to how many parameters you can monitor and log.

Hey all, I'm trying to figure out why my car is cutting under load. I'm running the Stage 1 FMIC 92+. My setup is 2009 Clubman S Auto with a FMIC, Forge BOV and Catless DP running 93 octane. It seems to cut close to WOT or when I press down and it needs to shift down.
Any ideas would be great.
I have attached the Data log from the Accessport from the last pull I did.
Thank you!

So to answer your question, at one time, Cobb had the capabilities to tune Mini's. Checking their website, I don't find Mini listed as an option anymore. On that basis, I wouldn't want to commit to their tune, rather stick with one of the currently popular (and available) tuners. You might be able to locate a Cobb tuner with Mini capabilities, but then you're locked in to that person for upgrades. Manic took some time off, for a variety of reasons, but is currently back in business concentrating on custom tunes at the stage 3 and 4 level. RPM is also popular, however I'm told by MarioKart that they do NOT yet have a stage 4 capability --- "it's being developed", so the popularity seems to be in the less demanding stages. Useless for me and anyone planning on a serious build in the near future. And even then, their stage 4 will have very few users, compared to Manic.
My tuner of choice is EuroTechs, based in Tempe AZ. He can do Manic tunes by mail but gets best results with hands-on the complete car --- road test, data logs, etc. Contact him via FaceBook for more info.

You can go onto the COBB website and download the current AccessPort Manager software to your PC or Mac, but when you plug in your unmarried V2 it will download the most current software for that module, and thats pretty much it. I don't have my AP in front of me at the moment, but I'd suspect you'd probably get the version I have, which would be the last available one. I have a file with all the maps for the different types of ECU's (I downloaded from a different thread) just in case mine didn't have any, which I can send to you if you know your ECU code, but I'd imagine that's all the support you'll get these days with it. I personally don't have any experience with Manic because my Mini is my daily and I didn't have the free time to send out my ECU, so I bought an AP (plus the perks seemed really nice, like different gauges, dataloging, etc.). However, ALTA and COBB no longer support the V2, and I doubt they will load Mini software to a V3 and ship it to you (ALTA_Chris can chime in on that). The other thing to consider is replacement parts. I have image burn on mine from the previous owner, and a slight short on my OBD cable. At some point that stuff will no longer be available, so I think the Manic for support would be the best option.

If you don't have the AP yet, I strongly advise you keep it that way. Manic is a much better option and can also provide the exhaust pop you want. Check out the Manic website, look for a local dealer, and work with him to select mods.
If you already have an AP, look at the map descriptions for guidance on what each map needs to be effective.

@mariokart offers Manic tunes as well, but he recommends RPM now because they're on the same level and RPM has better upgrade options. You might talk to him to see what you would prefer.
As for the pops, what year and engine do you have? I know my 2012 n18 has pops from the factory, but I know some R56 MCS models didn't come with it.

Check out RPM Power Canada, located in Vancouver, the "local" source for RPM tunes. Supposedly comparable to Manic, and Mario pushes both. Better to have it installed directly than mailing the ECU.
