Drivetrain I saw this unique exhaust.....
I saw this unique exhaust.....
I saw this unique exhaust while I was at MOTD this year.
What makes it really different was it looked like the dual exhaust from a Clubman, but was on a R53 Cooper S. Instead of being in the middle like stock, the tips were on the outside corners like the Clubman. Even the rear faring matched up.
Has anyone out there seen this set-up, and do you know where I can find one?
Thanks in advance.

They can be custom made using a just a Cooper rear trim, and make a second cut out on dr side. Then add a custom exhaust.
At one time there was a vendor who had these parts custom made but...he no longer exists ( was in the UK).
I remember seeing an ad in the Marketplace last year, I think the guy was from Canada and had a Remus set up for sale and incl the rear valance.

I saw a heavily modified Astro Black r53 with a non-aero bumper here in Los Angeles. It had a 'for sale' sign too. Unfortunately I didn't snap any pictures since he was leaving the parking lot of Bobs Big Boy. Very nice car and equally good sounding exhaust I must add.

No, I believe I saw the widow at MTTS last year and I've definitely seen it online... It was not the widow. He was supercharged because I heard a faint sound of the s/c whine and the wastegate sound was absent.
