Drivetrain Busted Connector, now what? (massive picture)
Busted Connector, now what? (massive picture)
Hey all,
So I am in the thick of doing my diff install and have hit a bit of a snag. In the process of moving some of the electrical out of the way I went to release the connector on the coolant temp sensor. Unfortunately I didnt release the clip that holds the connector all the way, *SNAP*. I wasn't using a tool or anything on it, I guess I just pulled a bit to hard thinking it was sticky like some of the fuel injector connectors I have had to deal with. Anyway here is the offending connector

Certainly the most obscenely over designed coolant sensor connector I have ever seen, mostly in the sense that it has so many keyways. Honda and Suzuki stuff is far more basic. What I am wonder is if anybody knows where I can source this guy. I know BMW/MINI likes to replace whole assemblies but it seems completely illogical that an entire harness replacement would be required in this type of event.
I realize that even if I can find the connector there is still the issue of popping the pins out of the one in the picture.
