Drivetrain JCW hesitation as you pull through 3200RPM?

03 MCS JCW #S1109 - well now have 8000km on the car after conversion and all in all pretty pleased. The starts are smoother and there is more power, although you have to push the RPM to really feel it 5500, of course you notice the low end torgue, but it is when it is really running that you notice it the most.....
Right fromt he start when passing through 3000 to 3200 there is a marked hesitation as the rpm climbs. This occurs under all typs of acceleration.
Does anybody else experience this? ECU perhaps....
