Do pullies effect the car's reliability?

I'm considering getting a pully but I'm worried about reliability. I want a bit more low end power but I drive the car alot, it's my daily, I do 15,000 miles a day plus time at the track, and I want to own the car for at least five years. It currently has 35,000 miles.

Can I expect a pully to reduce the life of the supercharger or something else? I think I'm going to go with the 15% but I'm not 100% sold on it.

Thanks

Do It! the pulley brings out the life of the car, and with 15%, change the plugs and the belt its safe.

Alright, after looking at quite a few threads I finally found one that talked about reliability. lol I know this is a dead horse but I was having trouble finding the answer. -- too much information syndrome.

What is a good plug that people change to?

Yes a correctly installed supercharger pulley is perfectly reliable. I've installed over 400 of them and can say for sure it's not going to make your car just die on you. But you do need to replace the belt when you do it, and we highly recommend a set of colder plugs to help with the extra boost for longjevity of the engine.

I've had a 15% pulley on mine for about 70,000 miles & it has caused no problems. I use stock heat range plugs also with no problems. My car has seen a few track days too. Go with a 15% & you'll ask yourself why didn't my MINI come this way. Best bang for the buck mod ever!

I bought mine from Aaron at Outmotoring. Great place to buy your parts, Aaron is all aces.

Two years with the 15% and stock plugs - no problems. Highly recommend the 15% pulley!

Over the years I've had very good luck with NGK plugs too. That is what my MINI currently has.
