We have encountered countless Mini owners who right away fall in love with the product. And what I find now and then with the Mini crowd is some of these people return days or a weeks later to express their satisifaction.

I invite anyone out there who has there doubt to try it. If you dont like it. Return it and you get your money back. its that simple, you have 30 days, but I am pretty sure you will be sold after only 1.

Actually, it's split into three camps. There is a third camp that has tried it, found it more difficult to modulate the throttle, and didn't like it.

These are admittedly in the minority, but fair is fair.....

This is a true statement and perhaps it is due to a lot of people being use to the "fly by wire" systems. I grew up with direct linkage and like to feel a responce without having to mash the throttle to the floor to get it. I find the SB to be way above the sport button and keep mine in the red or race position all the time. It just works for me, so I am a supporter. Everything is not for everybody. For example, I don't own and "S" and don't want one.

I have to say out of all the sprint boosters we've sold only 2 people have returned it. If someone thinks it is too twitchy and they have the manual trans version, it sometimes is better for them to install the Automatic version. It' seems to be a little less so it can be better suited for that person.

Wanna try one? We will have them with us on MTTS and at MITM next month so you can try it for free without having to deal with return shipping.

I think I might have to give this a shot. I've been missing my sport bike, maybe this will help with the pain! Hah.

I see that this thread is kind of old but it is what I am looking for when I searched "Sprint Booster". My husband has one in his BMW 135i and I have driven it both with and without his sprint booster and I can say it really DOES make the difference and I hate driving his car without it in! So I really want to get one for my MINI when it comes in, which is a 2011 automatic. Does anyone have a sprint booster on their auto 2011 MCS or know where I can find one? Thanks!

I've been contemplating getting the SB.
My questions are: How does it work in conjuction with my sport button?
Do I leave my sport button on or off? Is it better than my sport button?

its a quicker response then the SB, you can use it with or without the sport button just makes it way more sensitive. to test mine i stayed at steady throttle and then turned the SB on and felt the kick in then did it with sport button and went through diffrent levels. you can def feel the power hit faster but its just the sense of it not true power.

p.s. i have one for sale

Can I ask why you're selling it? I'm looking for one for my 5spd r50

Ok....I just threw down on this gadget....simply amazing. I installed a CAI last eeek and the Sprint Booster is by far the better value for everyday driving. I realize that the CAI actually gives more hp and torque but the SB is the cats meow. I was really pessimistic about the SB really making a difference until I pulled out of my driveway the first time. I have always thought first gear was sluggish in my 04 MCS but this changes the whole driving dynamic. All I can say is, try it.....you WILL NOT be returning it. Once again......I'm truly impressed!
