Thumper Head+Cam=

Stock head blew out cylinder 2 spark plug, stripped the threads, then blew out the helicoil. Having a Thumper TPR1 thrown on as well as the NS1 cam shaft while he's in there.

What can I expect with the mods I have?

With all the other mods you've stated, it's hard to say. Thumper crew gave some good speeches at MOTD last week. Explained their Stage I head is mildly ported and helps increase velocities for better low end. This head retains stock valve sizes. NS1 upgrade makes a good combination with this head. Best bet though is to get it re-tuned immediately afterward. The Thumper guys could not have emphasized this enough.

Blimey from Tar Heel MINI has this head installed. Consult with him for some figures. He does love the upgrade. I'm considering it myself within the next year.

Injectors will be needed as running all your mods with the new head will be lean without larger injectors.

Yeah, I tend to agree. Will probably need at least the JCW 380cc injectors. Thumper guys should be able to tell you if they are needed.

Please post your numbers once you get it all installed..
Be cool to see what you have now with the "some what standard" mods and a tune and then with the head/cam, and then a retune..

I have the TRP#2 version but haven't got it tuned yet. Also did the Devil's Own Methanol and NSK1 plus 17% pulley. Really love driving the car and looking forward to the tune and bigger injectors. Did the Miltek exhaust also. Some other goodies helped too.
You won't be disappointed.
