Spark plugs

have a 2008 mcs (STOCK) what is the best plug replacement and what is the gap on them When do you have to replace air filters and has anybody used a K&N replacement filter and what about a cold air filter i believe its called typhoon by K&N MOVING ON MINIINHD

spark plug socket

hello thanks for reply BUT WHERE can you get a sparkplug socket for these sparkplugs I read where they are 14 mm 12pt socket ????? THANKS MINIINHD

Most sprak plugs now are pregapped. Plus read down at the bottom of that 1st page on the link and it tells you where to get the socket.

I use a 3/8" 14mm 6 point deep socket from Sears with a little rubber insert to hold the spark plug.

the advantage of a k&n would mainly be you can clean it and use it forever. unlike the stock paper ones that i think should be replaced every 30K depending on driving conditions.

If you want a better plug than either the Platinum or Iridium, then the Brisk Silver racing plug is the one to use.
