Quote: Adam,

I've sent you 2 previous requests for a full refund of $269.00. The requests were specific and direct. Your return email in no way addresses these requests.

Here is your response to my email;

Hello Brian!
Hi Brian,

I apologize there have been a delayed on your BOV system. With the amount of testing we've done on the stage II system, it wasn't beneficial to ship the systems out to our clients. I actually have good news with my new sequential valves, they are completed early and will have my first sets next 2 weeks or could be even sooner. Please be assured it's been tested and it works through a long and prudent R&D under multiple boost pressures. I know that you've been waiting for your order and it's a lot to ask for another week but this might actually be a better route for us to work things out. The system will retail higher than the Stage I system and will have much stronger functionality. Boost pressure will stay consistant and shifts will be smoother. Also, the BOV system will help greatly with the minimal turbo lag there is. Please let me show you a perfect running system that will absolutely help the performance on your car. Again Brian, I am very sorry for these delays we've ran into. I will make sure these issues don't happen again moving forward. We are going to make sure we have a full stock of all products on our site. I will make sure to take great care of you on this order and all future orders. Thank you Brian

Adam

While I appreciate the apology and explanation and wish you best wishes for success in the future......

I am not interested in the BOV, ONLY IN A FULL REFUND.

3rd request >>>> send a refund of $269.00 to me.
LOL...

Hi guys!

Happy new years to you all! Very glad to start the new year with guns blazing to get production started ASAP. We are hoping to have Jan. a very productive month! For the o2 sim, the first unit is on test car (MINIutia's vehicle). The unit has been tested under many conditions to trigger the CEL or the "pending code" but hasn't had one! This includes resetting the battery to clear the cars memory as well. The unit is 100% functional so we are happy to start the process and get the first orders built. The actual unit will be half size so I do not have the current pictures yet. The microprocessor is going to be roughly 1" by 1". I will take pictures of the full unit as soon as I get my first piece. All units are being prepared now and should be ready in about 20-30 days, hopefully sooner. The great thing about our new microprocessor, is I can take the actual signals from the vehicle and "tune" the system as well. As soon as the sims are completed and shipping, we will be working on the R56 Mini Cooper/Clubman S Sport/Race Tune. I will make sure to post pictures asap!

What's going on with the RISS website. Can only get to a couple of the MINI items. Even direct links are dead (like the one for the CELL item):

Just an update from our end. Adam has indicated to IB that refunds will be completed by sometime in February. The cash from incoming orders is being used to post those refunds.

I'm interested in comments from the people who are either a) currently placing orders or b) are still owed refunds. I've been in contact back and forth with IB about this issue and have been passing along the feedback from you guys to them.

Time for Riss to get a second job, a loan or get an investor! Paying for parts that are already owed to the customer by using in-coming funds tends to be a long and painful battle for most retailers.

Hi guys,

Refunds are going to be finished by Feb latest. I apologize for not being able to do this sooner. As of now, there are about 6-8 refunds that need to be processed. All refunds are high priority so they will be completed.

R56 Mini Cooper/Clubman S o2 sims - I will have 20 units available this month. Everything is still on schedule. As of now, I have about 10 left in the first batch of units after the group buy orders go out. I'll post back in the commercial section when they're ready to ship

Guess I'm one of the 6-8. Been waiting over a month for a refund on two separate purchases. This is getting just plain ridiculous.

Without a doubt,

Everybody will get refunded. I understand your frustration and apologize for this delay. I wish all these events didn't happen the last two months but this is going to be much better moving forward. Please allow me the next few weeks to ship orders out and we should have everybody refunded in Feb.

Well I'm still holding out hope for the o2 sim, as one of the first to buy the catted downpipe (which threw a CEL, just like my previous Alta), it's been a very very long wait.

Except me. I unfortunately had mine installed, and because I did that I can't get a refund. I can't even sell my exhaust. $800.00 sitting in a corner of my garage. What a waist of money.

It sucks for those that paid for products to have to wait for other sales to go through to get their money back. What did you do with our money? Loose it all on a bet? What type of shady business is this?

Status of my exhaust shipment, please!
Adam,

We chatted online about two weeks ago, when I inquired about the status of my exhaust system. The tracking number which I received from you appears invalid. Now, if you have a valid tracking number there must be a way to resolve a lost shipment. If you cannot prove my exhaust system was shipped, I'd like a refund. I placed my order in August, and we're going on 5 months without product in hand.

Regards,

Jeff

Attached below is the yahoo email exchange held between you and I late last year.It was 48X24X12. It stayed under the limit so it was able to ship.
I'll give them a call in the morning and give you an update on what they
say. For the resonator, it can ship immediately. I also have the o2
sim in production, so as soon as I'm ready to ship the system, I'll let
you know to order.

I'm not worried since we get consistent sales but I'm actually sad because I never thought something like this would have happened. I guess we already learn something new when it comes to business. 2010 should be a very exciting year. As soon as I get everything taken care of (businesswise) and get everything back in my name, I'll be able to concentrate on taking great care of our customers with more new and exciting products. I'm happy with the end result even though the battle was there, but great things are coming. I'll keep you updated, and thank you for the Christmas wishes. I

Just wondering why he stated that your exhaust was already shipped out, but then in his last message said that he was going to ship all exhaust tomorrow? Oh and you should be able to have all your exhaust parts shipped to your FPO address. My Buddy ordered his exhaust from Riss and it took a long time to get here due to the company issues, but he got it. Granted were not on a ship and on shore duty out in Spain but he got it non the less. Safe sea's and fair waters to you Phoenix. If your ever get a port call in Spain look me up.

Hi Jeff,

PM was sent earlier today with both tracking information. If anybody else is missing a package in transit, please PM me to look up your order. Especially packages that are going overseas. We use usps for shipping and depending on the shipping company that scans the package on the other side, it may or may not show any information until delivery
