Cherry Hot Headers

After driving my hard for about 5 min or so I opened the hood and I could see the headers glowing red. Is that normal ?

Have you noticed any drivability problems?

A clogged CAT can cause the temps to get high rather quickly.

Stock 1st gen Minis

dump tons of fuel that makes exhaust temps very, very high. Glowing isn't abnormal....
