Hi all... I couldn't find the answer when searched but for all Invidia exhaust owners I have 2 questions. 1) How did you hang the last 2 metal hangers on exhaust in tha brown plastic hangers on car next to the battery box? The 2 metal hangers next to the tips face front to rear and the 2 brown hanger hole do dads next to battery box face side to side- so... how do I get the metal hangers to fit? 2) After installing the exhaust, did it kinda smell-like possibly burnt plastic? I checked but saw nothing unusual- possibly 'cuz its new? Thanx for any input.

 

I forgot to mention I have an 06 and the exhaust is supposed to be for 06. I wonder if the sent me a wrong year exhaust...unfortunately no instructions in box although everything seemed accounted for when opened and no pack slip with factory sealed box when delivered.

 

that exhaust you have is for the wrong year. it can easily be fixed at a muffler shop, they just need to move around the hangers.

and as for the smell, yes, there is a funky odor when they are brand new. it should go away within one fill up of the gas tank. look closely at the rear bumper trim to make sure the tips are not in fact melting the rear valance.
