My stock 05 MCS with run-flats beat in every respect an Audi A3 except top speed. Driving late at night in a large 4 lane hwy my bee was limited to 138 mph with room to go. My buddy's A3 was limited 155 so when the bee throttled off he passed me.

There may be a slight variation to top speed readings gives variation on wheel sizes but is should not exceed +/- 3 mph.

 

I have a '04 with q-chip. I have done 142 on the digital speedo with the GPS saying 136. I did not hit a fuel cut off.

 

i dont know but i could never get mine to go more then 130. havent tried that in awhile but when i did i had v rated tires on it. i dont think it really matters tho. lol i remember the last time i tried i was racing either a mk3 or mk4 golf on the highway and we both topped out at 130 and neither of us could pull on eachother. lol i was just barely in front of him by like a car length basically neck and neck and we were both just like damnit.... i had a snowboard on top of my car tho haha the guy never waved to me tho what an *** hole

Jeezzz sorrryy I didn't know I'm sorta new to this site as you can see but isn't this entire thread pretty much dedicated to excesive speeding? I feel like I'm being singled out here on this topic. Is it the cuss words? For that I oppologise to you sir.

 

After reviewing the whole thread, you aren't the only one to receive a warning. I always try to use positive intent with NAM members and assume everyone achieves these speeds under legal circumstances (at a track..etc) We do not condone street racing and that is not the type of community that we are. I also believe we received the information that is requested from the original creator of this thread and due to the way this thread is headed, I am locking this thread.
