Anyone else been waiting a long time for the UUC exhaust to ship after order has been placed? I've been waiting over a month. I keep getting "it'll ship tomorrow" as a response.

Well I'd ask them to refund your card and order it from elsewhere.

This is UUC, you can't go anywhere else. Everything is dropped shipped from UUC directly. It doesn't matter who you go through.

Did you buy from UUC direct or go through a vendor- if through a vendor then ask the vendor for some idea or help on this delay. Maybe they are flooded with orders?

My understanding is that UUC is waiting for a newly designed box to ship in because of some recent shipping damage. The problem is, these boxes were supposed to come in, and shipments to customers was supposed to happen on Oct. 27th. I believe that UUC is still waiting for these boxes. Pretty lame excuse IMHO, if this is true.

Hum, maybe NRP then?

I have been having issues getting my muffler in as well. I understand the frustration.

I had the same problem. Mine was delayed also. I ordered mine through Dan @ MINIPilo as he has the best price anywhere. I was hoping to get it within a week since the distributor is within one hour from my house. When it didn't show I asked Dan if he could find out what's going on.

First I was told that everyone had recently got the flu at the warehouse and they were backed up with orders. It was supposed to ship within 2 days. It didn't. I inquired again and was told it would ship the next day, a Friday. It didn't. I inquired once again and was told the above story about the boxes. Apparently they tried other boxes but the exhausts were getting damaged. So they expected these NEW boxes in on Monday. If they got them they would ship my exhaust. Boxes didn't show. I was fed up and ready to cancel my order. FINALLY through negotiation through Dan from MINIPilo, I was able to go directly to the warehouse and pick up my exhaust. This wasn't bad at all b/c they are not only nearby, but I was sure to get the proper hardware (some people have claimed they didn't received all the necessary bolts in another thread).

I thank Dan from MINIPilo for his GREAT customer service. I will definitely buy from him again!

Thanks greatgro for the confirmation of UUC's issues. I am looking forward to your evaluation. Are there any initial comments you can add? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks!

THey have not had the proper boxes for well over a month. I am giving them a call tomorrow and see what is up. My contact usually tells me the truth. I will see what I can do for people even if they didn't order from me.

THanks

Yup...they keep telling me the boxes will be in tomorrow for the last month or more. This is not the first time UUC could'nt delivery a product on time. I waiting a long time for their DDE for my 330Ci. Finally cancelled that order. It's not like they just make the exhaust last week. They've been testing for the last 6 months or more? Didn't someone there think they'll be needing boxes?

There best guess on boxes is sometime next week. They said that basically the Box Manufacturer Screwed them, and that they are just about done. Hopefully people should be seeing there Exhausts starting early the week of the 17th. Good Luck waiting Guys.

I would wait for the new boxes, My tips have some scuff marks from incorrect packaging.

Thanks
Dan
