I currently have a squealing noise from the accessory belt area. I have a alta pulley and a new belt and the noise started about 3 months after i had it installed. The noise only happens when I have been driving the car for awhile(freeway driving) and then i will pull up to a stop sign and can hear it; I can make it louder by reving the engine a little. The strange thing is it will go away after I rev the engine a few times and it wont make noise anymore. I know it is coming from the accessory area, but can't figure it out. The noise is not that loud, but it is driving me nuts when it starts to make noise. Any ideas?
