Stopped by M7 today to have my venom system fine tuned and was able to take a ride in their demo car.Mine was running a little lean and the venom system was shutting it down a bit as it was designed. We went down a size in the jet and all is good. This car is running a 75 shot of nitrous and bigger injectors in the fuel system and the best way to describe the acceleration is it reminded me of my old 64 chevelle with a big block. Talk about the scenery rushing by, Damnnnn ! We got up to 130 with more to come but we really weren't in as open a environment as we would have liked and had to shut it down. The difference between my car with the 40 shot and his was amazing and mine is no slouch as the JPW car i ran away from can attest. Truly fun stuff and the best part in my opinion is that it is part time. You aren't running anything higher than it was really designed for all the time just when you really need it. Additionally it is safe as I found out when the control module let me know i needed to re jet.In any event I feel there isnt a bigger bang for the buck for the mini at this time and I will keep posting any new developments. Did you pulley the S/C? I didn't see that in your sig but thought you would have.

Nope, there's no pulley installed and even then, you can probably take on most cars in straight-line acceleration without a problem! Sounds way fast!

Randy,

On Saturday I had the opportunity to ride in the M7 "Venomized" MCS. When Peter kicked in the nitrous, the acceleration was almost neck breaking, and elicited several choice four-letter expletives. I don't see any practical value in the nitrous system, except for straight line racing or the thrill of leaving others in the dust, especially when they call your car "cute". Will you be wearing a suit and tie and puffing on an English briar pipe while cruising on Ventura or Van Nuys Blvds?

Practical no but neither are a lot of my addons but DAMN it is fun! I plan on calling it the shut up bottle. Call maxi cute and it will shut you up  It is really just a fun add on for me and a great way to suprise a lot of people as well as let a bit of air out of some of the puffed up JCW crowd. All in good fun tho.See you around the campus,Randy

I have found that most SCCA weekend track racing (except drag) will not allow NOS.

Anyone else found this to be true?

NOS in an MCS might be OK for some fun at quarter mile runs.

SCCA solo II in my area is strictly low speed with lots and lots of nice cones to keep you honest plus it's over in about 60 seconds or less with no place for using NOS (therefore not allowed).

Anyone see that Chris Farley movie black sheep? That picture reminds me of the part where theyre driving in the cop car with the NOS and it leaks and they get high off the fumes.
