Well the happy little brown truck dropped off my package from outmotoring.com and I got my PILO intake! Sadly my car is sitting in the BWM body shop recovering from a fight with a Dodge Caravan (btw Evil Betty did win the fight and got her first confirmed kill ) and might just be missing the lightness of the initial application. Am I just being paranoid or what? Any sure fire way to check that it has infact been treated?

One way or the other if your on the fence about an intake, I would highly recommend the PILO. Randy's reviews on all the intakes show it to make excellent hp gains, and the unit is very attractive and well made. The real clintcher is the price. WOW, nice to see a high quality product that doesnt gouge your wallet! Now if MiniPILO would just make a kick *** exhaust!

Glad you like the intake. the filter does infact come preoiled. It is hard to tell because of the wire mesh over the cotton, you can not really feel the oil. I suggest cleaning and oiling it every 7.5 to 10K miles with the included Filter Cleaning Kit.

i bought my intakes about few months ago and i got a sticker as well.. havent put it on yet tho

Uh...what free cleaning kit? I didn't get one, and had actually been wondering how accessible the cleaning supplies were going to be once it comes time to clean (I've only had it about 4K miles).

I did get a sticker though. Can I trade?
