m62 still an option

i was reading the thread (m62 is reality) and i was wondering if there was still a kit going around somewhere for it. and if it was actually worth the money.

did it end up being efficient or was it determined that the m45 is the better option?

i tried to search but i couldn't really find much of anything other then the original thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-reality.html

thanks in advanced for any help

ok so i did a little bit more research and from what i can tell the m62 was a no go and didnt work out as well as it was originally planned to?

Is there still a Rotrex SC kit on the market?

if neither of these are an option for an upgraded/aftermarket SC is there any other option or was it just decided that the M45 is the best for our minis

m62 apparently had to much parasitic loss associated with it. RMW has the ability to do the Rotrex S/C but i dont think anyone has a 'kit' per-say.

All turbo (not twin-charge) seems to be a good option as well.

Alllll of this depends completely on how deep your pocket book is.

There is also the TVS, but if that ever comes to fruition is anybody's guess as Eaton doesnt seem to show much interest in it.

ok well thats to bad that nothing has seemed to work out that well they seemed like such great ideas

did the Rotrex end up being a good option, was it any more efficient then the m45?

i dont really want to go turbo im more a fan im the supercharger, if there is no other way to get to the mid or high 200 HP then i may just have to deal with the m45 or Turbo it.

Oh ya man, the Rotrex rocks. The power band is second to none.

wow i would love to have that, is it possible to run the rotrex before i get the rest of the goodies to complement it, or would i be better off getting everything else like a new head and better headers and exhaust etc. etc.

There never was. If there ever was one on the market then it was poorly advertised.
