Thanks Thump . I'm glad you all the others showed up that day.

So back on topic. This same group and Mini USA have been together for years. You guys did know this right? Hopefully this new program is as successful as the last R56 deal from these guys (see pic below). This time around it must be a huge deal for Mynes to close up a successful business to go to work for Hubie. Can't wait to hear what it is.

Bryan,

What is the point of your ad hominem attacks? They really are quite inappropriate and wasteful of bandwidth. Where did you get the info that Mynes will be working for Hubie? My understanding is that both companies are separate, even though they may collaborate on certain projects, etc. Furthermore, Mynes Tuning, MegaMini USA and Dynamic Motor Sports, will be housed as independent business entities in the same very large facility in Lake Forest. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers,

Ok, Mynes posted a slightly contentious thread a while back laying down a challenge to RMW, that one blew up into flames.

Now, LB starts a thread which at best is a thinly disguised shot at Mynes (LB may not be part of RMW in name, but considering he's gotten a boatload of work/parts on his car done at cost, I think it's safe to say not exactly an objective observer).

So let's call it even now, lock this thread, grow up, and quit posting this crap!!!

All the hidden agendas are so off putting; at some point, I'd like to get some more torque/HP for my car--once I've got the suspension completely dialed in--not for some glorious dyno number, but for useful improvement in performance on the track. The most mature vendor who meets these criteria gets my money....

Bryan, that is a cheap shot that you should know was not due to the technical limitations of the people involved.

I think it is great for competition that Mynes is continuing in the MINI business. Why can't SoCal be a national leader for fast MINIs? MINI needs friendly, respectful competition among tuners; I hope we're not past that point.

I look forward to seeing what performance goodies come out of Jan and Mynes and whoever else in this new era.

Better days.......

OK? And that offer still stands, even a dyno tuning shoot out as well.

A shot at Mynes? What shot? LongBoard has no idea what's going on and making himself and his affliated company look like a fool.

I agree, take that up with the thread starter. Tell him to stop posting silly stuff.

This thread is nothing more than trolling.

Original question answered (yes read the muck it was indeed there) and I'm sure they'll be more announcements about this in the future when you've got some actual information to discuss.

Either way this one is in the lock bin now.
