quick ECU swap question
Hi motorers,
I have a 2003 MCS and changed the gearbox for a 2005.
The cruise control doesn't work anymore and I've read a lot on that issue. Most people say that getting a 2005 ECU would fix this.
My question is: If I can find a used 2005-2006 ECU, can I just install it in my car and drive off... Or it needs to be programmed by a dealer (for my VIN)?
