You'll see me on here often Lou. Wasting time exciting myself for things I'm not going to buy anytime soon LOL! Coilovers, tuning, paintwork, custom crap...etc. I really do know when to stop!

yeah i kill time here too
some great write ups here
my wish list gets larger every time i visit
and yes my car is green with envy when it hears yours LOL
Really my car won't brake boost thats so weird even my buddy who drives another turbo car tried and he couldn't either. Once you start to apply the brake I can push the gas pedal to the floor and it doesn't do anything.
Could you explain how you are brake boosting more in depth is there something i'm missing. I push the brake and gas at the same time and for me once I hit the brakes there is no more gas pedal just like it shuts off.

I do have a 6 speed and I don't really street race but wanted to have it in my book of driving Technics.
Oh ok...well in that case...
Say you're cruising in third....push the clutch, build boost by revving and then release the clutch, and off you go. You do the same thing as you would do launching the car from a stop, except you're moving.
Not the best thing to do on the car, for obvious reasons...

That sounds like it wouldn't do anything but bog down and make you slower. Unless you are letting the rpms go down and then bringing them back up. Where does the "braking" come in? Seems to me that would be called "launching," and you would do that from a stop. I wouldn't use my brakes to go faster in a drag race...
Of course, I'm not a pro, so if I am wrong, please explain it to me.
Thanks.
Yeah launching the car while going 45mph doesn't seem like a good idea. Someone please just answer me this when you are driving 45mph push on the brake pedal softy and then apply the gas and tell me what happens.
Everyone needs to relax damn.... Obviously Jan is busy doing other things I was just trying to pass the time. Also if you read my original question it's not really off topic. "Riddle Me This Batman aka Jan can you figure out why I can't brake boost and change it so I can."
