Milltek Exhaust Qusetion

I am in the market for an exhaust system. And was wondering where the cheapest online site is for the Milltek exhaust. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Looks like vividracing.com and nyxracing.com have it for about $650, about $300 cheaper than most other places.

Careful you are looking at the correct system for your car. The last post indicated $650, but that's for the plian old Cooper, not an MCS. Stratmosphere occasionally has 15% off sales, so you can get a MCS catback for ~$950.

If that's the real deal and their not going to rape you on shipping... Call them and order it FAST! Millteks are not found discounted often..

I called Vivid Racing and the Milltek $650 cat-back is not for the S models. The pipe diameter is only 2.13" and it has a single bullet style tip. The Milltek cat-back (2.5" system) for the Mini Cooper S sells for $948, and is currently out of stock.

If it sounds too good to be true...it usually is.

Stratmosphere just came out with a new exhaust identical to millteks. I'm interested to if you want to contact someone about a group buy

I can get you a Milltek or Stratmosphere. Give me a call. The link posted is a really old out of date price. They just never updated when the prices went up a couple years ago.

Sounds like you saying that the Milltek for $899 and the Stratmosphere for $849 are outdated prices that have increased. Minituner still offers the Milltek for $899 including shipping, but there is a 5-6 week wait because they are out of stock. Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for a sale. Over $900 for 4-5 HP over the stock JCW Works exhaust is not much bang for the buck.

I dont think the OP was asking to inquiring about getting the most bang for his buck HP wise on an exhaust. That is kind of silly. If you are looking for that get a tune

Thanks for all the comments. I think I'll wait until someone is having a sale or something. But will end up getting the Milltek.

I was considering the purchase for myself and therefore analyzed the ROI from a performance perspective. I will be getting an RMW tune in mid June.
